Congratulations to Thomas Newman, Cam Fauver, & their boat captain Bryan Newman for finishing 2nd at the State Tournament to qualify them for the National Tournament on Lake Hartwell the end of July!  These boys, as many of you have, put in a lot of time on and off the water and ultimately made the right decisions over two days to get back to Nationals after qualifying last year in the Junior Division.  

We talked about Quality over Quantity and after day 1 FC BASS teams were sitting in 3rd, 7th, & 10th in the High School division.

~Thomas/Cam moved up to 2nd Day 2
~ Cole Meres & Dalton Kirby (JR Kirby) finished in 10th place 
~Christian Charles & Bryson Moseley (Mounts) finished 14th out of 46 teams
~Clark Kelly & Matt Lehr moved up from 19th to 14th in 2 days in the Junior Division

Other stats include Frederick Bass had:
~3 Teams in the Top 15 
~Frederick had 2 Teams finish in the Top 10 tied with Mecklenburg also having 2 teams in the Top 10

Couldn't be more proud of the entire organization this year!  
Good luck to Thomas/Cam/Bryan as they not only represent Frederick County but one of 2 teams representing the State of Virginia @ Nationals!
